  5. MOBY TIME--Language Skills-- 100% of your K-4 skills mustshould be completed by Friday!  Some of you need to get moving!  You are being left in the dust!  Next week you will take another  "test" for the end of the 9 weeks!

          4. RESPOND TO THIS:  Tell me about your experience in English this year.  How is it different from last year?  Are there things you are enjoying and things you wished you could change?   
          5.  VOCAB TEST TODAY--Take 5 minutes and study with a partner of your choice or use Quizlet to help yourself!
          6. SILENT READING--when you finish with your test!

            CLASS DISCUSSION about questions/answer/expectations.  See and hear examples
          1. Create a "October Vocab" Document (the one with 3 columns )  Add the word  "celestial" Define, add your picture----
          2. "FAN CLUB" QUESTIONS---(Use this link to get to the questions--cut and paste the questions into the Google Doc--and follow directions below!)
          3. You can get with a partner or work by yourself! 
            1. You need to answer your questions in complete sentences. (Hint--QIS format)
            2. Each answer needs to begin with a capital letter and end with some sort of ending punctuation.  
            3. If you are working with a partner, one of you read the question--the other read the "complete" answer! 
            4. Does it make sense?  IF NOT---look for a better answer--discuss and write down some thoughts and notes.  FIX IT!
            5. OPEN A GOOGLE DOC
            6. TYPE YOUR NAME and "FAN CLUB QUESTIONS"
            7. NUMBER each question and type each complete sentence answer.
            8. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK---Submit it when it's completed!  If you worked with a partner--make sure both your names are in the upper left corner before submitting.  Submit only one document for both of you!
